The "LOST never existed" Universe

In this universe the following is true:
  • LOST never existed. The television show was never conceived, never created, never anything.
  • Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn and Evangeline Lilly never gained national prominence and did one off acting jobs here and there never getting the true glory they deserved. Naveen Andrews on the other hand remained to be awesome and badass and got all the recognition and more.
  • Dru Johnston and countless other Americans spent the hundreds of hours they've spent agonizing over and watching LOST doing things that were better for society: community service, getting decent jobs that helped the environment, discovered cold fusion, etc. etc. etc.
  • About a dozen people watched the Shield instead.

The "Ben is not played by Michael Emerson" Universe

In this universe the following are true:
  • Michael Emerson is not playing Ben Linus
  • Because of this the show isn't nearly as good and Dru stopped watching it after the second season.

The "Jack is not a know-it-all prick" Universe

In this universe the following are changed:
  • Jack is no longer a know-it-all prick. This means that there's no clear, charming leader at the beginning of the series, but it also means there's no ridiculously irritating moments when Jack decides to make a big deal about decisions ranging from where to set up camp to what sort of bread Kate uses to make her sandwich. "KATE! What are we going to do about this sandwich? You think this 7-grain is going to help? That's your plan?"
  • Arst (sp?) the middle school teacher is the undisputed leader of the island. Because of that most of the people have died but the ones who haven't are awesome at making paper mache volcanos.
  • There is a love triangle, but that love triangle involves Sawyer, Kate and James Gandolfini.
  • Ana Lucia is still alive. No one is really happy about this one.

Explaining LOST through Quantum mechanics

Now I'm no Daniel Faraday, but I do love LOST and think a lot of myself. With that being said I'm going to explain a little bit about what this blog is all about. Now according to Quantum Physics there can be infinite number of worlds, infinite number of universes, ranging from the complete opposite of our universe to just one or two tweaks (in another universe I never started The Year of the Blog and because of that probably have regular sex). Now, this means that in LOST there could potentially be multiple timelines, multiple universes, multiple realities all with different consequences and things of that nature.

SPOILER ALERT!

According to last night's episode there appear to be two universes (now of course I know they might be the same universe just 3 years apart... I know, I know, but let's assume now shall we?). If that is the case there are probably INFINITE universes! This blog will just cover a few of those.
